The Presidium coffee used in monorigine has been grown and processed by Cooperativa Esquipulas R.L. Huehuetenango.
The Huehuetenango territory, in the Northwest of Guatemala, on the border with Mexico, has an altitude ranging from 850 to 3700 meters and offers an extraordinary variety of ecosystems (wet subtropical forest to pine forests). Situated in the foothills of the Cuchumatanes, the highest non-volcanic mountain range in Central America, Huehuetenango is one of the most suitable areas of Land for cultivation. There are several cru in the Huehuetenango area, each due to morphological and microclimate of the Valley in which are the communities involved in the project. The characteristics common to the cafés of this area are a full body and good acidity. The Cup is balanced and aromatic, with floral, citrus and chocolate.
