FRUITY AND AROMATIC
Ethiopia is the country of origin of coffee and the only country in the world where plants are found in the wild. At an altitude of around 1800 metres, Arabica coffee grows wild here, in the shade of tall trees. For thousands of years, each family has picked the cherries, dried them in the sun on suspended beds, roasted them, pounded them in the mortar and offered the coffee to guests following an atavistic ceremony, a solemn rite with a strong symbolism of respect and hospitality. The producers pick the ripe fruit, selecting the reddest cherries.
The result in the cup is a medium-bodied coffee with a pleasant vanilla aftertaste.
